What You’ll Get to Do:

  • CACI’s resource assignment. The PM is accountable for meeting fiscal targets by managing maintain or reducing costs and maintaining or increasing revenue. The PM is the focal point for technical interaction with teammates and OEM vendors while formal reporting flows through CACI’s Subcontracts Administration structure.
  • Prepares technical, financial, contractual, and logistics information for briefings, presentations, and status reports.
  • Is responsible for CACI’s Risk Management program to identify and track project-related risks.
  • As part of embedded processes, develops and maintains a comprehensive Risk Register starting at project inception.
  • Responsible for manpower strategy for scaling staff and resources for Design, Installation, and Sustainment requirements. Responsible for CACI’s approach to total lifecycle managem
  • Responsible for regional activity oversight; dedicated site PMs are responsible for implementing site tasks and the IBDSS Next PM provides overall management, direction, data collection, and teammate management and coordination, as well as reviews and reporting with the Government, and CACI upper management.
  • Responsible for update of Integrated Master Schedule and the Delivery+ project management tool kit.
  • Serves as the focal point for technical interaction with partners and OEM vendors while coordinating official contractual direction and formal reporting flow through our Contracts Manager or Subcontracts Administration resources.
  • Briefs senior leaders on status of new and current initiatives.
  • Supports operational planning, testing, system fielding, and sustainment efforts. Responsible for support of multiple programs associated with Sustainment and Design and Installations for IBDSS Next Force Protection systems.


More About the Role:

In addition to participating in internal program reviews such as mid-course reviews, program management reviews, etc., the PM will provide technical proposal and re-compete support for existing work and other tactical and strategic opportunities being pursued by CACI.

Focus is on short-term strategies (e.g., less than 1 year) to achieve business results, which may require substantial development of new processes, standards or operational plans to achieve strategic goals. Innovation & Complexity:
  • Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the project.
  • Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems are difficult and moderately complex. Problems typically impact multiple departments or specialties. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues. Communication & Influence:
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own project, which may include external customers or vendors depending upon the project.
  • Explains policies, practices and procedures of the project to others within the organization. May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies and procedures. Sometimes requires ability to influence others outside of own project on policies, practices and procedures. Leadership & Talent Management:
    • Typically manages a small to mid-size project. These typically include multiple teams led by directors, managers and/or supervisors. May also lead through influence of other teams/departments. Typically, responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans for project to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish business results.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics. Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years related work experience.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Proposal writing experience. PMP Certified from accredited institution.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including MS Project.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP IP camera experience Logistics predictive analytics tool(s) experience.
